Allen Lockshin has been working with business machines and personal computers for over 45 years (since 1962). In May of 1982, after successful careers in the soft drink industry, and then as a real estate broker, Allen founded Houston’s first used computer store, Consumers Computer Exchange (CCX). Ironically, the first customer was a high school junior named Michael Dell. Over the years, Allen became a mentor to several of the area’s brightest teenagers.
